Mission Statement

Immaculate Conception Parish School of Religion provides a quality Catholic faith formation program where the gospel message of Jesus Christ is lived, learned and shared in a safe learning environment. Children will come to know the love of God and the message of salvation through the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. The catechetical leaders and volunteers accept as our mission: to know our faith, to live by truth and love, to serve the needs of others, and to teach by example.

Volunteers

Our programs are led by volunteers, teenagers and adults, who wish to share the love of Jesus with the children of the parish. VBS is a one week long summer program for elementary school-aged children. A theme is presented through interactive activities, such as Bible stories, songs, skits, arts and crafts, and team-building game activities. Junior high and high school students, and adults are needed prior to VBS week in the areas of planning, registration, decorating, and for all activities during VBS week.

Preparation is for first penance, first communion and confirmation. It is available for pupils of Mater Dei Academy, PSR students and home-schoolers.
